Full course description
Even if you have enough iPads for every student in class, using them for group learning is a big plus. This course will help you find and develop ways to use iPads that build collaboration and enhance learning through centers and rotation stations.
You'll read articles in which classroom teachers recommend the best apps for collaborative and project-based learning. You'll watch videos of schools where iPads support group effort and online interaction among learners.
And you'll find gobs of ideas and how-to for making the iPad an integral part of literacy centers and other rotation stations for a variety of topics at all grade levels.
You can apply pragmatic classroom experience to your AOK to demonstrate competency with these skills, so your coursework directly applies to your professional practice. And the micro-badge you earn shows you can use iPads in class to advance collaboration and communication.
