Full course description
As educators, most of us have used Microsoft Word at one time or another. Even by the time a new teacher walks into her own classroom for the first time, you can be sure she’s been around the word processing block. Most likely, that experience has included some work with Word, which for decades has defined writing software and been the reference point for all others that followed.
If somehow you’ve never touched a Word doc, this course will cover everything you need to know to master and make the most of it. If you’ve been working with a version older than 2016, you’ll get up to speed on the newest features that make creating, formatting and managing your documents easier and more flexible than ever.
At PDLN we value your prior knowledge, and your precious time,, so if you’re a longtime master at some of the topics covered, feel free to skip around and focus on what you need to learn.
As always, you can choose an Assessment of Knowledge (AOK) option that not only demonstrates your competency, but that also lets you walk away with material you can use in class right away. Our credentialed reviewers will assess your work according to this rubric, and award a badge that certifies your mastery of all things Word ’16.
