Full course description
Teachers mean business. And that’s only one reason Skype for Business is such a fabulous tool for education.
Use it to meet with teams, instant message your colleague that their car lights are on in the parking lot, and for instruction to connect your students — person-to-person — with classes near and far, and to bring expert visitors into class you couldn’t afford or schedule otherwise.
This course takes you step-by-step through the process of installing and customizing Skype; setting up calls and meetings on the fly; scheduling in advance through Outlook; managing all aspects of a call or meeting with participant and action controls; sharing your screen, programs, files, PowerPoints and more; and recording a meeting to save everyone from having to take taking lengthy notes.
We know educators’ time is at a premium, so you can complete an Assessment of Knowledge (AOK) option that not only demonstrates your competency, but that also leaves you with material you can use with students right away. Our credentialed reviewers will assess your work according to this rubric, and award a badge that certifies your mastery of Skype for instructional and collaborative purposes.
