Full course description
Putting a device into the hands of every student sounds like a great solution to whatever ails ya. But without clear purpose, plans and procedures, a 1:1 program is just jumping on the bandwagon. And we all know when schools or districts fall off that wagon, the cost is high—in dollars and in lost learning opportunities.
Knowledge is power, and you'll need tons of it to lead your students, community members, board members, and other stakeholders through this process. Luckily, this course is here to provide you with the tools you need to get your own program off the ground and running. And every course section offers at least one Assessment of Knowledge (AOK) project that results in fresh curriculum you can put into place with your students right away. To launch and sustain an effective 1:1 program, you need more than plenty of devices. With this course, you'll be able to identify your goals, build community support, cultivate purpose among your students, and ultimately, successfully differentiate instruction and enhance learning.
